Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to accessing your answer key and response sheet:
- Visit the official GATE 2026 website: gate2026.iitg.ac.in
- Look for the “GATE Admit Card / Hall Ticket” link.
- Login using your Enrollment ID / Email and Password.
- After logging in, your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download the PDF and take printouts for future use.
How to Calculate Your Estimated Score
Once you’ve downloaded the answer key:
- For each correct answer, award yourself +1 mark
- For every wrong answer, deduct 0.33 marks (where applicable)
- No marks are added or deducted for unanswered questions
This gives you a fair estimate of your performance even before the official result is announced.
