Job Details
- Candidates must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who moved to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India.
- The application fee for SSC CHSL 2026 is ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS male candidates, while all female candidates, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are completely exempted from paying the fee.
- There are approximately 2,536 overall tentative vacancies for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Data Entry Operator Grade 'A'.
- Level-5 DEO posts require Class 12 in Science with Mathematics and a 15,000 KDPH entry speed for a basic pay of ₹29,200, and Level-4 DEO posts require Class 12 in any stream with an 8,000 KDPH entry speed for a basic pay of ₹25,500, so candidates will get higher pay based on their qualification and merit rank.
