Job Details

Candidates must have nine years of experience in the executive cadre in Planning, Construction, Design or Maintenance. Experience of Port and Marine Structures in an Industrial, Commercial or Government undertaking is preferred.
Candidates must be holding an analogous post or Superintending Engineer (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering in the scale Rs. 24,900-50,500, with 3 years of regular service in the grade in a Major Port Trust.
Alternatively, candidates must have 2 years of regular service as Superintending Engineer, plus a combined 7 years of regular service in the scales Rs. 20,600-46,500 and Rs. 24,900-46,500 in the Civil Engineering Department of a Major Port Trust.
Candidates must register and apply on the Online Application Portal (http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in) between 03.11.2026 and 02.12.2026, and must then send a printout of the filled-in application with the required documents through their Administrative Port, in an envelope superscribed “Application for the post of Dy.
