Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric standard is compulsory for all posts. If the qualification was obtained through distance mode, the university must be approved by the Distance Education Council or a joint committee of DEC, UGC and AICTE, and the candidate must produce proof of approval. Selection Process
Selection is on a 50-mark merit basis, as per the criteria below. The notice also mentions an interview, where original documents must be shown.

Experience: work experience counts if it is after the required qualification and in the same field. Experience in a State Government, semi-Government, UT, Government board or corporation (including NHM) is considered. Private-sector experience counts only in hospitals or labs that are JCI, NABH, NABL or ISO certified, or nationally accredited health institutions. The experience certificate must be supported by a bank statement showing only the salary from the employer for the period of experience.
Salary
The posts carry a consolidated monthly remuneration, from Rs 8,000 for Yoga Instructor (Part Time) to Rs 50,000 for Specialist (Ayurveda), as shown in the vacancy table. The engagement is purely on a contract basis under the National AYUSH Mission, and the contract is not automatically renewed. Candidates cannot claim regularisation. Inter-district transfer is not permitted.
