For Project Associate-I IT/Data Science posts, relevant Bachelor's degrees in Engineering/Technology or MCA are prescribed. Relevant skills include Python, SQL, machine learning, data analysis, visualization and statistical modelling for the Data Science posts.

Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Sowa Rigpa

• Ayurveda: BAMS/MD Ayurveda, depending on the post.
• Unani: BUMS.
• Sowa Rigpa: Bachelor's degree in Sowa Rigpa medicine/MD Sowa Rigpa, as applicable.
• Siddha: BSMS/MD Siddha, depending on the post.

Patent

For Senior Project Associate – Patent, a Master's degree in Chemical/Biological Sciences, Bioinformatics or Cheminformatics with prescribed experience, or a relevant doctoral degree with prescribed experience, is required.

Experience in patent analytics/informatics and a PG Diploma in IPR are desirable.

Sanskrit & Yoga

• Senior Project Associate – Sanskrit: Master's/Doctoral degree in Sanskrit with prescribed experience.
• Project Associate-I – Yoga: Master's Degree in Yoga or equivalent.

Candidates in their final semester or awaiting results are not eligible for these positions.

CSIR TKDL Salary / Monthly Emoluments 2026

Senior Project Associate

Rs 42,000 + HRA per month

Project Associate-I

• Rs 31,000 + HRA per month for candidates meeting the prescribed CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or national-level examination criteria.
• Rs 25,000 + HRA per month for other eligible candidates.

Selection Process

The CSIR TKDL selection process consists of:

Written Test → Shortlisting → Interview → Final Selection
