HAL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for HAL Recruitment 2026 consists of the following stages:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- All eligible candidates must appear for an Online Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- The test will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Questions will assess candidates' technical knowledge, aptitude, reasoning, English language, and general awareness, as per the post applied for.
- Candidates who secure the required qualifying marks in the CBT will be shortlisted for the next stage.
2. Personal Interview (Bengaluru)
- Candidates shortlisted through the CBT will be called for a Personal Interview.
- The interview will be conducted at Bengaluru.
- During the interview, candidates will be assessed on their technical knowledge, communication skills, problem-solving ability, personality, and overall suitability for the post.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the recruitment criteria prescribed by HAL.
3. Document Verification (DV)
- Candidates who qualify in the interview will be invited for Document Verification.
- They must produce the original documents along with self-attested photocopies, including:
- Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
- Proof of age (Birth Certificate/Class 10 Certificate)
- Category/EWS/PwBD certificate (if applicable)
- Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Passport, etc.)
- Experience certificates (if applicable)
- Any other documents specified in the official notification
- Failure to produce valid documents may lead to cancellation of candidature.
4. Pre-Employment Medical Examination
- Candidates who successfully complete the document verification process must undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
- The medical test will be conducted by HAL-authorized medical authorities to ensure that candidates are medically fit for the post.
- Final appointment will be made only after candidates are declared medically fit and satisfy all eligibility conditions.

Merit List

Service Agreement Bond
Candidates selected for HAL Recruitment 2026 must sign a Service Agreement Bond to serve Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for 5 years, excluding the 52-week training period.
If a candidate leaves the organization before completing the bond period, they will have to reimburse the actual training cost, up to a maximum of ?15,00,000, as per HAL rules.
