The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced CRP-RRBs-XV Recruitment 2026 for Regional Rural Banks. The revised vacancy count is 13,745 posts, including 8,222 Office Assistant (Clerk) posts, 4,256 Officer Scale-I (PO) posts and vacancies for Officer Scale-II and Scale-III. 

The online application window is from 1 September to 21 September 2026. The official notification covers Group “B” Office Assistants and Group “A” Officers Scale-I, II and III.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC-NCL: 3 years

• PwBD: 10 years

• Eligible Officer Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

• Other applicable relaxations: As per official rules.

Special age concessions also apply to certain women candidates for Office Assistant and eligible defence personnel as specified in the notification.

IBPS RRB Selection Process 2026

Office Assistant (Clerk)

Prelims → Mains → Provisional Allotment

The preliminary exam has 80 questions for 80 marks with a duration of 45 minutes. The Main examination has 200 questions for 200 marks and lasts 120 minutes.

Officer Scale-I (PO)

Prelims → Mains → Common Interview → Provisional Allotment

The Scale-I preliminary exam consists of Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, with 80 questions for 80 marks in 45 minutes.

Officer Scale-II & III

These posts have a Single Online Examination followed by Common Interview.

There is a 0.25-mark penalty of the marks assigned to a question for every wrong answer in the objective tests.

IBPS RRB Salary / Pay Scale

The recruitment covers Office Assistant and Officer posts across participating Regional Rural Banks. Salary, allowances and applicable benefits will be as per the rules of the allotted Regional Rural Bank and the applicable service/pay regulations.
