Educational Qualification

IISc Junior Security Assistant Salary 2026
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs35,000.
The engagement is contractual and does not provide regular government service benefits such as PF, pension, seniority or promotion through this appointment.
Contract Duration
The initial contract period is one year.
It may be renewed annually for a maximum period of five years, depending on satisfactory performance and the requirements of IISc. Previous HR Department service at IISc may also be counted toward the maximum five-year tenure.
An annual increment of up to 10% may be permitted, with a maximum of four such revisions, subject to the prescribed approval process.

The Physical Efficiency Test and Trade Test will be conducted first, followed by an Interview for shortlisted candidates. The selection process will be held at IISc on a date that will be notified later.

Performing other security-related duties.
