Assam Rifles Technical And Tradesman Recruitment 2026 (Warrant Officer, Rifleman and Other 354 Posts)
Overview
The Directorate General Assam Rifles, Shillong, has released the Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2026 notification, inviting online applications from eligible male Indian citizens for 354 Group C vacancies across 18 technical and tradesman trades. The recruitment will be conducted through the Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally 2026, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking Central Government defence jobs.
 
The online application process will begin on 28 September 2026 and remain open until 28 October 2026 (11:59 PM) through the official Assam Rifles recruitment portal.
 
The recruitment covers multiple technical and tradesman posts under Group C, with post-wise educational qualifications, age limits, physical standards, and trade-specific eligibility varying according to the notified trade. Candidates should carefully verify the eligibility conditions for their chosen post before submitting the application.
 
The selection process will be conducted through the Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally, which is expected to include Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test, Written Examination, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination, as applicable to the respective trade.
Selected candidates will be appointed to Group C Technical and Tradesman posts in the Assam Rifles under the applicable Central Government pay scales and service rules.

  • Cut-off Date for Age : 1 July 2026 (for all candidates)
Application Fee
  • Rs. 100/- for Group C posts;
  • No fee for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
  • The fee is non-refundable.
Age Limit
  • Most trades require : 18–23 years.
  • Cipher, Draughtsman, Operation Theatre Technician and Physiotherapist require : 18–25 years, as on the cut-off date of 1 July 2026.
