CMWSSB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (Graduate and Technician Diploma Apprentice 108 Posts)

Overview

The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) has released the CMWSSB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification, inviting online applications for 108 apprenticeship training positions for Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders. The apprenticeship is being conducted through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and is open to eligible candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.

This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and diploma holders to gain one year of practical training in a Government organization under the Apprentices Act.

The application process is being conducted through the NATS portal, and candidates must first enroll on the portal before applying for the CMWSSB apprenticeship. The last date to enroll and submit the application is 17 October 2026.

Eligible candidates must be Tamil Nadu domiciles who completed the relevant Engineering Degree or Diploma in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or May 2026. Candidates should carefully verify the discipline-wise eligibility, qualification requirements, and apprenticeship conditions mentioned in the official notification before applying.

The selection process will be conducted according to CMWSSB and NATS apprenticeship guidelines and is expected to involve shortlisting based on eligibility, document verification, and other procedures specified in the notification. Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training at CMWSSB and receive the applicable Government apprenticeship stipend as per NATS norms.
