Overview

The Directorate of Land Records and Surveys, Assam (DLRS Assam) has released the Land Record Assistant Recruitment 2026 notification, inviting online applications for 579 Land Record Assistant vacancies. The recruitment is a special eligibility-based recruitment and is open only to candidates who have successfully completed the 6-month Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) at the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati, and were declared proficient in both Survey and Settlement subjects before the prescribed cut-off date.

This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for RCCC-trained candidates seeking Government jobs in the Land Records and Surveys Department of Assam.

The online application process will begin on 21 September 2026 (11:00 AM) and remain open until 21 October 2026 (5:00 PM) through the official SEBA Online portal.

Candidates must be 21 to 40 years of age as on 01 January 2026 and must have completed the RCCC Training with official proficiency certification issued by the Director of Land Records & Surveys before 13 August 2026. Candidates who do not meet this mandatory training requirement are not eligible to apply.

The selection process will be conducted according to DLRS Assam recruitment guidelines and may include verification of RCCC qualification, scrutiny of applications, document verification, and other procedures specified in the official notification. Selected candidates will be appointed as Land Record Assistants under the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys, Assam.
