  • Reserved category candidates, women, ex-servicemen, and PwD candidates are eligible for age relaxation.

  • Candidates applying for GSSSB X-Ray Assistant Recruitment 2026 must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC/12th) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and English as subjects, conducted by the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. This qualification standard has been fixed as per the Health and Family Welfare Department's resolution dated 18 November 2024. In addition, candidates must possess basic computer knowledge as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967, and adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
  • Candidates who do not currently hold a computer knowledge certificate can still apply, but they must submit proof of having passed a basic computer knowledge test before the appointing authority prior to appointment - failure to do so will make the candidate ineligible for appointment, and the selection can be cancelled by the appointing authority.
