The Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC) has released the Manipur SSC Special Primary Teacher Recruitment 2026 notification under Advertisement No. 02/2026 for the recruitment of 80 Special Primary Teacher posts on a regular basis in the Education (S) Department, Government of Manipur.   • 10+2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Board; or 10+2 (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks from a recognized University/Institution/Board, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
  • D.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI-approved institute, with a valid RCI CRR number; or D.El.Ed. with a recognized qualification (Certificate/Diploma) through an RCI-approved institution for in-service/pre-service general teachers, equivalent to D.Ed. in Special Education, with a valid RCI CRR number.
  • 6 months of training in teaching in the cross-disability area of inclusive education. If the proposed programme is not available, this requirement may be dropped, provided the candidate compulsorily undergoes this training as soon as it is conducted.
    Passed the Teacher
  • Eligibility Test-1 (TET-1) conducted by the State Government or any other agency approved by NCTE.
