MECL Non-Executive Salary / Pay Scale 2026

The advertised pay scales include:

• Accountant (W-7): Rs. 22,900–55,900

• W-4 posts: Rs. 20,200–49,300

• Junior Driver (W-3): Rs. 19,600–47,900

MECL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The MECL Non-Executive selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Screening of Applications

   • Applications are screened to identify eligible and non-eligible candidates.

2. Written Competitive Examination

   • The written test carries 100% weightage.

   • The examination will be conducted at Nagpur by an independent external agency.

   • Cut-off marks are 50% for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

   • PwD candidates receive relaxed standards as per Government guidelines.

3. Document Verification

   • Candidates clearing the written test are ordinarily called for document verification in a ratio of up to 1:7 against the vacancies.

4. Skill Test/Trade Test

   • Applicable candidates undergo a Skill Test or Trade Test.

   • This stage is qualifying in nature.

   • The final merit list is prepared based on written-test marks after eliminating candidates found unsuitable in the skill/trade test.

All tests are to be conducted in Nagpur City.
