The age limit is 18 to 56 years as on 26 October 2026. Candidates should not have been born on or after 27 October 2008 or before 26 October 1970. The notification does not specify any age relaxation.

The category-wise split reported for the 51 posts is UR 24, SC 7, ST 4, OBC 13 and EWS 3. Reservation follows Government of India orders, and the number of interns may change depending on the extension or completion of existing interns.

Only Indian nationals can apply, and they must have passed Inter CA or Inter CMA. Candidates without final marks will not be considered. Eligibility for practical training is also subject to the conditions of the respective institute (ICAI or ICMAI). Candidates must enter their exact percentage of marks without rounding, so 49.99% should not be entered as 50%. Candidates should check the official notification for the full list of conditions.

Selection Process

Screening on the aggregate marks of Inter CA/Inter CMA, with shortlisting in the ratio of 1:5
Virtual personal interview
Certificate verification and medical examination
Police and character verification

If marks are tied, the candidate with higher Inter CA/Inter CMA marks ranks higher; if still tied, the older candidate ranks higher. Candidates who apply for more than one location are shortlisted on CA/CMA marks and interviewed at one of their chosen sites. The waitlist is valid for one year from the approval of the panel.

Accommodation is provided at Units on payment of the normal licence fee, subject to availability. Free site transport (subject to availability) and OPD and first-aid facilities are also provided.
