Selection Process
The selection process for NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainee comprises two key stages:

All India Online Selection Test: A Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of two sections—Subject Knowledge Test and Executive Aptitude Test. Candidates must qualify in both sections separately.

Document Verification & Medical Exam: Candidates shortlisted based on merit will undergo document verification and medical fitness evaluation by the NTPC Medical Board.
Salary & Service Bond

Pay Scale: Selected candidates enter the E0 Grade pay scale of ?30,000–?1,20,000/- with basic pay at ?30,000/- plus DA and statutory allowances.

Training Period: 1-year training at various NTPC stations or projects.

Service Bond: General/EWS/OBC candidates must execute a bond of ?2,50,000/- (?1,25,000/- for SC/ST/PwBD) to serve for at least 3 years post-training.
