Professor
For general/broad specialties, candidates should possess the prescribed medical qualification and a postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS or recognized equivalent in the relevant specialty.
For super-specialty disciplines, the required qualification includes M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for medical super-specialties, or recognized equivalent qualifications.
The experience requirement is:
- General/Broad Specialty: 13 years teaching/research experience, including at least 4 years as Assistant Professor and 3 years as Associate Professor.
- Super-Specialty: 10 years teaching/research experience, including at least 4 years as Assistant Professor and 3 years as Associate Professor.
Associate Professor
For general/broad specialties, candidates require the prescribed medical qualification along with MD/MS or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
For super-specialties, M.Ch./D.M. or recognized equivalent qualification is required.
Experience required:
- General/Broad Specialty: 7 years teaching/research experience, including at least 4 years as Assistant Professor.
- Super-Specialty: 4 years teaching/research experience as Assistant Professor for candidates having the required recognized D.M./M.Ch. qualification.
Assistant Professor
