UKPSC Veterinary Officer Age Limit 2026

The age limit is 21 to 42 years as on 1 July 2026.

Candidates must not have been born after 1 July 2005 or before 2 July 1984. Age relaxation is available for eligible categories as per Uttarakhand Government rules. UKPSC Veterinary Officer Selection Process 2026

The selection process is primarily based on the objective-type written examination.

Written Examination

The examination consists of three papers carrying a total of 800 marks:

Negative marking will apply. For each wrong answer or more than one answer marked for a question, one-fourth of the marks prescribed for that question will be deducted.

Candidates must also meet the minimum qualifying marks. The notification prescribes 45% for General, 40% for OBC/EWS, 35% for SC and eligible Ex-Servicemen, and 30% for Uttarakhand PwD candidates, subject to the applicable category/sub-category rules. Candidates meeting the required qualifying percentage are considered for the merit list.

UKPSC Veterinary Officer Salary 2026

Selected Veterinary Officers will receive Pay Level-10: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500. The post is classified as a Group 'B' gazetted post under the conditions mentioned in the notification.
