Age Limit

As on 15/09/2025, the candidate's age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 33 years.
Upper age limit may be relaxed for candidates already in Gujarat Government service, as per the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

Municipal Sanitary Inspector, Class-3; Sanitary Sub Inspector, Class-3	173 (145 + 28)	Passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from a Secondary/Higher Secondary Education Board, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. A minimum one-year Sanitary Inspector's Diploma Course from a Government-recognized institution; or A minimum one-year Certificate of Health Sanitary Inspectors from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or any other Government-recognized institute. Basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both.
