BBMB Hindi Translator Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process is primarily based on a Written Test followed by document verification.

1. Written Examination

The written test will carry 100 marks and will have a duration of 90 minutes.

The examination will cover:

• English Grammar

• Hindi Grammar

• Computer Proficiency

• Translation from Hindi to English

• Translation from English to Hindi

• Word Meaning – English to Hindi and Hindi to English

The question paper will consist of MCQs and candidates will answer on an OMR-based answer sheet. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking.

BBMB Hindi Translator Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be appointed in the Level-6 pay scale of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400, as mentioned in the notification under the 7th CPC.

The notification further states that selected candidates will initially be appointed on a 3-year probation period on the initial stage of the applicable pay scale, subject to the terms and conditions of appointment.
