BEL Havildar Security Selection Process 2026
The selection process consists of the following stages:
1. Shortlisting
BEL will first screen applications based on the details, qualification, experience and documents provided by candidates. Merely meeting the minimum eligibility conditions does not guarantee that a candidate will be called for the selection stages.
2. Physical Endurance Test
Eligible/shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Physical Endurance Test.
Candidates who qualify in the Physical Endurance Test will be shortlisted for the Written Test. Both the Physical Endurance Test and Written Test will be conducted at Kotdwar, Uttarakhand.
Candidates must also submit a self-declaration regarding fitness and willingness for the Physical Endurance Test. BEL will provide the prescribed form on the day of the test.
3. Written Test
Candidates qualifying in the Physical Endurance Test will proceed to the Written Test.
The detailed test date and further examination instructions will be communicated by BEL. The notification currently states that the examination date will be intimated later.
BEL Havildar Security Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be placed under Wage Group-III / Career Path-III, with the following pay scale:
Rs. 20,500 – 3% – Rs. 79,000 + admissible allowances
