Overview

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Sheikhpura, Bihar has released Appointment Notice No. 01/2026, dated 11 August 2026, inviting applications for the engagement of 100 Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) across Sheikhpura district. This is a voluntary legal-aid role and not a regular government job, with an honorarium paid on a per-day basis rather than a fixed salary.

Eligible residents of Sheikhpura district who are at least 18 years old and have passed Matriculation (10th) can apply. Applications must be submitted by registered post or by hand from 12 August 2026 to 11 September 2026 (5:00 PM); there is no online application process. Selection will be conducted through an interview by the DLSA Sheikhpura Selection Committee. Selected PLVs will receive an honorarium of ₹750 per day, payable only for the days on which they are assigned work by the Authority.
