Overview

The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has released the GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026 notification inviting online applications for 2,510 Helper (Fixed Pay) vacancies across its depots and workshops in Gujarat. The recruitment is being conducted through the OJAS Gujarat Portal, and selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed-pay basis under the Corporation's recruitment rules.

The online application process will begin on 07 September 2026 and remain open until 06 October 2026 (11:59 PM), while the joint examination process fee can be paid until 08 October 2026. Applications are accepted only through the OJAS Gujarat portal, and candidates should complete both the application and fee payment within the prescribed timeline.

Candidates aged 18 to 35 years who possess a Government-recognized ITI certificate in the prescribed trades are eligible to apply for these vacancies. The recruitment offers a fixed monthly salary of ₹21,100, and candidates with an NCVT-certified apprenticeship in the relevant trade will receive additional preference during the selection process.

The selection process includes a written examination, merit preparation with applicable weightage, and document verification. Selected candidates may be posted at any GSRTC depot or workshop across Gujarat, depending on the Corporation's requirements.

Unreserved Category : ₹300/- + GST
Reserved Category (all categories of female candidates, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, Divyang, and Ex-Serviceman candidates) : ₹200/- + GST

Age Limit

The base age limit is 18 to 35 years, with relaxation up to a maximum of 45 years (in any case) depending on category and gender.
