B.Tech Engineers & ITI Vacancies

The largest share of vacancies is for B.Tech Engineers/ITI candidates, with 90 positions. Third- and fourth-year B.Tech students, fresh graduates and ITI candidates with experience can apply, subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions. Basic field or survey experience is preferred. 

IIM Indore Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility differs according to the position.

Project Manager

Candidates should have a Ph.D. or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Management or a related discipline along with relevant project management experience. The required experience is 10+ years in areas such as large-scale infrastructure or government projects, cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management. 

Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

A degree in Engineering, Management, Statistics, Public Policy, Planning or a related discipline is required. The experience requirement is 8+ years for senior profiles and 3+ years for junior profiles. 

Advisors and Technical Experts

Candidates for these positions generally require a Ph.D. or postgraduate degree in disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning or Environmental Planning.

Advisors require 15+ years of relevant experience, while Technical Experts require 8+ years for senior profiles and 3+ years for junior profiles. 

B.Tech Engineers / ITI

For the 90 field-level positions, B.Tech 3rd/4th-year students, fresh graduates and ITI candidates with experience are eligible. The required experience range is 0–3 years, with freshers and active students also eligible. 

Desirable Skills

Candidates having the following skills or experience may receive preference:

• Experience in government, externally funded or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of water supply, sanitation and environmental management.

• Knowledge of infrastructure development and public health engineering.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, MS Office and project management software.

• Knowledge of data analytics or relevant engineering software.

• Good communication, documentation and analytical skills.

• Ability to work in a team.

• Willingness to undertake field visits and project-related travel. 

IIM Indore Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process may include one or more stages depending on the number and profile of applications received:

1. Application Screening: Applications will be checked against the prescribed eligibility criteria.

2. Shortlisting: Candidates may be shortlisted based on their qualifications and relevant experience.

3. Written Test / Technical Assessment: IIM Indore may conduct a written test or technical assessment where considered necessary.

4. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview.
