Arunachal Pradesh PSC Group A & B Recruitment 2026

Overview

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Advertisement No. 06/2026 for the Common Recruitment Examination for Group-A & Group-B Gazetted (Technical) Posts 2026 (Part-II), inviting online applications for 37 vacancies across the Finance and Home Departments of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The recruitment includes Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer, Sub-Treasury Officer, Assistant Director (Prosecution), and Assistant Public Prosecutor posts.

The recruitment is exclusively for Permanent Residents of Arunachal Pradesh who belong to the Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) category and possess proficiency in an indigenous tribal language as required under the notification. Candidates who do not meet these eligibility conditions are not eligible to apply.

The online application process will begin on 21 September 2026 (5:00 PM) and remain open until 12 October 2026 (5:00 PM) through the official APPSC website. Applications are accepted only in online mode, and candidates should complete the registration within the prescribed timeline.

Eligible candidates must possess the prescribed Bachelor's Degree, Law Degree, Commerce qualification, or other post-specific educational qualifications, depending on the post they are applying for. The recruitment will be conducted through a Common Recruitment Examination, with the written examination and recruitment test scheduled to be held in the Itanagar Capital Region, followed by the further selection stages specified in the official notification.

Selected candidates will be appointed to Group-A and Group-B Gazetted Technical posts under the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and will receive salaries under the applicable 7th CPC Pay Levels, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other admissible Government benefits.

Candidates should carefully check the post-wise eligibility, APST and domicile requirements, educational qualification, age limit, application fee, important dates before submitting their application.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹200/- through online mode only.
PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee as per Section 19.
