Samagra Shiksha DNH & DD Recruitment 2026 (Walk in for 74 Pre-School Teacher & Caretaker/Helper Posts)
Overview
The Directorate of Education, U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, under Samagra Shiksha, has released Advertisement No. DNH-DD/DOE/SS/ECCE/RECRUITMENT/2026-27/3427, dated 09 September 2026, inviting eligible candidates for 74 Short Term Contract (STC) positions through Walk-in Interview. The recruitment includes 22 Pre-School Teacher posts and 52 Caretaker/Helper (Female) posts for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) centres across the Union Territory.
 
The recruitment is being conducted on a purely Short Term Contract (STC) basis, and there is no online application process. Eligible candidates must attend the walk-in interview with a duly filled application form, original documents, and self-attested copies on the scheduled interview dates.
 
Candidates must be 30 years of age or below and possess the prescribed qualifications for the respective post. Pre-School Teacher applicants must hold the required teacher-education qualification prescribed for ECCE posts, while Caretaker/Helper (Female) applicants should possess the prescribed Class X or Class XII qualification, as mentioned in the official notification.
 
The walk-in interviews are scheduled for 16, 17, and 18 September 2026 at designated venues in Silvassa (Dadra & Nagar Haveli) and Daman, with candidates required to appear on the date allotted for their post and location. Selected candidates will be engaged under Samagra Shiksha and posted at ECCE centres across Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
 
Candidates should carefully check the post-wise vacancies, educational qualification, age limit, interview schedule and walk-in procedure before attending the interview.
