ISRO SAC Recruitment 2026 (Junior Research Fellow, Research Associate and More Posts)
Overview
The Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, a lead centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space, has released the SAC Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement No. SAC:02:2026, dated 10 September 2026) inviting online applications for 48 temporary positions across 16 post codes. The recruitment includes Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Research Associate (RA), and Project Scientist-I (PS-I) posts for cutting-edge research and development projects.
 
The recruitment spans multiple disciplines, including Semiconductor Technology, RF & Microwave Engineering, VLSI, Photonics, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, GIS, Hydrology, Computer Science, and other specialized scientific fields, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in ISRO's research programmes.
The online registration process opened on 10 September 2026 (10:00 AM) and will remain open until 30 September 2026 (5:00 PM) through the official SAC Career Portal. Applications are accepted only in online mode, and no offline applications will be considered.
 
Candidates possessing the prescribed B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc, or Ph.D. qualifications, depending on the post code, are eligible to apply. Selected candidates will primarily be posted at SAC, Ahmedabad, although project assignments may require travel or temporary stay at other locations across India based on project requirements.
 
The selection process includes shortlisting based on academic credentials, followed by interview, document verification, and other stages as specified in the official notification. Candidates should carefully check the post-wise eligibility, educational qualifications, age limit, stipend or salary, important dates,  before submitting their application.
