GSSSB Recruitment 2026 (Research Assistant, Statistical Assistant Posts)

Overview

The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 457/202627 for the GSSSB Research Assistant & Statistical Assistant Recruitment 2026, inviting online applications for 41 Class-3 vacancies under the Directorate of Statistics and Economics, Gandhinagar. The recruitment includes 18 Research Assistant posts and 23 Statistical Assistant posts through a direct recruitment selection process.

The online application process will begin on 09 September 2026 (2:00 PM) and remain open until 23 September 2026 (11:59 PM). Applications will be accepted only through the OJAS Gujarat portal, and candidates should complete the application within the prescribed timeline.

Candidates with a Postgraduate Degree in the relevant discipline, or a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related subjects as the principal subject, are eligible to apply, subject to the post-specific eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification. The recruitment is for Class-3 Government posts under the Directorate of Statistics and Economics, with postings in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The selection process includes a competitive examination, followed by document verification and other stages prescribed by GSSSB. Selected candidates will receive the applicable Gujarat Government Class-3 pay scale, along with admissible allowances and benefits as per Government rules.
