DPCC Recruitment 2026 (Legal Assistant, Scientific Assistant & More 59 Posts)

Overview

Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), Department of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi, has issued a rolling advertisement for 59 posts on deputation, including short-term contract.

The recruitment is open only to officers holding a regular post in the Central or State Government, a Union Territory, a recognised research institute, an autonomous or statutory body, or a PSU. Candidates must be no older than 56 years on the closing date of the phase in which they apply. Officers working in private organisations, on contract, retired or unemployed are not considered.

The posts range from Senior Lab Assistant at Level 4 to Additional Director (Scientific) at Level 13. The largest numbers of vacancies are for Environmental Engineer with 15 posts, Assistant Environmental Engineer with 15 posts and Senior Environmental Engineer with 8 posts.

Applications must be submitted through proper channel to the Administrative Officer, DPCC, Shastri Park, Delhi. The applications are being considered in three phases closing on 31 October, 15 November and 30 November 2026.

Environmental Engineer	15	analogous post, or five years' regular service in Level 10; and either a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a related field with eight years' experience in pollution control after the degree, or a Master's degree in engineering in a related field with six years' experience after the Master's.
Senior Scientist L-I (Scientist-C)	02	analogous post, or five years' regular service in Level 10; and a Master's degree in science with eight years' experience in pollution control or related subjects.
System Analyst	01	Master's in Computer Application or Computer Science, M.Tech with computer-application specialisation, or BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Technology, with five years' electronic data processing (EDP) experience including two years in actual programming.
Assistant Environmental Engineer	15	analogous post in Level 10 on a regular basis; and a degree in engineering in a related field with two years' experience in pollution control or a related field, or a Master's degree in engineering.
Scientist-B	01	analogous post, or eight years' regular service in analogous posts in Level 6; and a Master's degree in science with three years' experience in pollution control or related subjects.
Assistant Law Officer	01	analogous post, or five years' regular service in Level 6; and a Bachelor's degree in law with four years' experience as a legal practitioner or four years handling legal work in a government department, PSU, autonomous or statutory body.
Scientific Assistant	04	analogous post, or ten years' regular service in Level 4; and a Bachelor's degree in science with experience in laboratory work.
Legal Assistant	05	analogous post, or three years' regular service in Level 6 after regular appointment; and a degree in law.
Senior Lab Assistant	05	analogous post, or eight years' regular service in Level 2. The circular sets no separate educational qualification for this post.
