LPSSRB Recruitment 2026 (Sweeper/Safaiwala, Fireman and More Posts)
Overview
The Ladakh Police Subordinate Service Recruitment Board (LPSSRB) has announced 17 vacancies for Fireman, Fireman Driver, Fireman Ministerial and Sweeper/Safaiwala posts.
 
The notified pay level is Level-2 for Fireman, Fireman Driver and Fireman Ministerial posts, while the Sweeper/Safaiwala post carries pay level SL-1.
 
Eligible candidates must possess a valid Domicile Certificate of the Union Territory of Ladakh. Online applications will be accepted from 22/10/2026 to 08/11/2026.
 
The selection process includes a Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), scrutiny of original documents and a written examination or skill test, depending on the post.

  • Fee for Fireman / Driver / Ministerial : Rs 600/-
  • Fee for Sweeper/Safaiwala : Rs 450/-

SC / ST / ALC -

  • Fee for Fireman / Driver / Ministerial : Rs 500/-
  • Fee for Sweeper/Safaiwala : Rs 400/-

 

Age Limit
  • Fireman, Fireman Driver, Fireman Ministerial : 18 to 28 years
  • Sweeper/Safaiwala : 18 to 40 years

  • Must have passed 12th from a recognised Board of School Education, along with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute in typewriting on computer keyboard, with 90% accuracy.
Sweeper/Safaiwala 01
  • Must have passed 10th from a recognised Board of School Education.
