Overview

The Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC), Ranchi, has announced 56 vacancies for the Manager for School of Excellence post on a contract basis.

The selected candidates will receive a specified salary of Rs. 60,000 per month. The maximum age limit is 62 years as of 01/10/2026.

Eligible candidates can apply offline by downloading the prescribed application format and sending the completed form along with attested copies of testimonials by registered post. Applications should be addressed to the State Project Director, Jharkhand Education Project Council, JSCA Stadium Road, Sector-3, Dhurwa, Ranchi. Candidates may also apply online through the JEPC website.

The last date to submit applications is 21/10/2026.

The selection process will involve an interview or a written test followed by an interview, depending on the number of applicants. Candidates should refer to the official notification and JEPC website for complete eligibility requirements and application instructions.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applying for the position of School Manager is 62 years as on 1.10.2026. The maximum age of a selected candidate for renewal of the contract on an annual basis shall be 65 years.

OR Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) of CBSE, ICSE, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, or Army School having 20 years of teaching experience along with Administrative Experience (Academic In charge, Examination In charge, Time-Table In charge, Class Representative, Co-ordinator, etc.). Preference shall be given to more experienced candidates and candidates having substantial experience as Principal or Vice-Principal in CBSE-affiliated schools.
