Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2026 (70 Apprentice Posts)

Overview

Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, has announced 70 apprenticeship opportunities under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

The vacancies include 16 Graduate Technical, 6 Graduate Non-Technical, 28 Diploma Technician and 20 ITI Trade Apprentice positions. Eligible candidates can apply from 15/10/2026 to 10/11/2026.

Selected apprentices will undergo one year of practical training and receive a monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 9,600 to Rs. 12,300, along with an additional food/messing allowance of Rs. 1,200 per month.

Applicants must have completed their qualifying course through full-time regular study, passed within the prescribed five-year period and attained at least 18 years of age.

The selection process involves shortlisting followed by certificate verification. No written examination or interview will be conducted.

Candidates must register on the applicable NAPS or NATS portal and submit the prescribed application form to the Kochi Metro Rail office. Applicants should refer to the official notification for complete eligibility conditions and application instructions.

Age Limit

KMRL requires apprenticeship applicants to have completed 18 years of age. Candidates below 18 years are not eligible.

ITI Trade Apprentice	20	Applicants must have completed a full-time regular ITI course in the relevant advertised trade.
