KSRTC SWIFT Recruitment 2026 (Driver, Conductor and More 1040 Posts)
Overview
KSRTC SWIFT, the Kerala Government company that runs KSRTC's long-distance bus services, has invited online applications for 1,040 posts on a daily-wage basis, including 385 Driver, 345 Conductor and 310 Driver-cum-Conductor posts.
 
The posts are temporary engagements under a contract with KSRTC SWIFT. The remuneration is Rs. 715 per eight-hour duty plus overtime at Rs. 130 per hour and allowances, along with EPF and ESI. The engagement carries no claim to permanent appointment. Selected candidates must deposit Rs. 30,000 as refundable security and serve two years after training.
 
Drivers need a 9th pass qualification and a Heavy Motor Vehicle licence with passenger and goods endorsements. Conductors need a 10th pass qualification and a conductor licence. Driver-cum-Conductors need a 10th pass qualification, an HMV licence and five years of heavy passenger vehicle experience. The age limit is 21 to 55 years.
 
Applications are accepted only online at cmd.kerala.gov.in with a Rs. 100 application fee until 22 October 2026, 5:00 PM. Selection is through a driving skill test, written test or both, followed by an interview.
