Odisha Police SPO Recruitment 2026 (Special Police Officer 84 Posts )
Overview
Odisha Police, Eastern Range Baleshwar has released recruitment for 84 contract vacancies, including 22 Special Police Officer posts in Baleshwar, 25 in Mayurbhanj, 22 in Bhadrak and 15 in Rairangpur Police District.
 
The engagement is on a contract basis for a period of one year, with remuneration fixed as per Government of Odisha, Finance Department Memo No. 25745/F dated 1 October 2026. Applicants must be retired Assistant Sub-Inspector, Sub-Inspector or Inspector of Police.
 
Candidates can apply through the offline process by downloading the application form from the Odisha Police website, filling it in typed format, attaching self-attested copies of the required documents and submitting it by hand or post to the O/o the D.I.G. of Police, ER, Baleshwar on or before 17 October 2026.
 
The selection process consists of verification of original documents, Medical Test, Physical Test and Interview. The selection test is scheduled for 23 October 2026.
