Supreme Court of India Court Assistant Recruitment 2026
Overview
The Supreme Court of India has announced 15 vacancies for the Court Assistant (Technical Assistant-cum-Programmer) post under Recruitment 2026. The notified pay for the post is Level 7.
 
Eligible candidates holding the prescribed B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, B.Sc or BCA qualification can apply online from 3 November 2026 to 24 November 2026.
 
The selection process consists of an Objective Type Test, Objective Type Technical Aptitude Test and Practical Aptitude Test.
 
Applicants must pay the application fee online and submit their applications through the official website within the specified dates, following the requirements given in the recruitment notification.

  • Tentative Answer Key Upload Date ; 24.12.2026
  • Answer Key Objection Window Live Dates :  24.12.2026 to 25.12.2026 (till 11.55 p.m.)
Application Fee
  • General / Unreserved category candidates : Rs.1,500/-
  • Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) / Ex-Servicemen / Physically Challenged candidates : Rs.750/-
Age Limit
  • Candidates should not be below 18 years of age and the upper age limit is 35 years as on 1st October, 2026.

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with 3 years' experience in software development; OR Master's Degree in Computer Application/M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized University or equivalent with 3 years' experience in software development; OR B.Sc. in Computer Science/Bachelor in Computer Application with First Class or atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or equivalent with 4 years' experience in software development.
