How Will Bhattadev University Select Candidates?

• Shortlisting of applicants (University reserves the right when applicants are many)
• Interview
• Mere fulfilment of minimum qualification does not entitle an applicant to be invited to the interview
• When there is a large number of applicants against one post, the University reserves the right to shortlist applicants for interview

• Self-attested supporting documents (2 sets)
• Proof of payment of application fee
• Category certificate (SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC/PWD) issued by competent authority as per Government of Assam norms
• NOC from the concerned authority for candidates in employment (if not applying through proper channel)

How to Apply for Bhattadev University Recruitment 2026 Online

1. Apply online in the Samarth Portal; the link will be made available on the University website by 10-11-2026.
2. Pay the non-refundable fee through the online payment gateway in the portal.
3. Submit the online application by 09-12-2026.
4. Send photocopies of the application (2 sets) and self-attested supporting documents (2 sets) with proof of fee payment.
5. Hard copy must reach the Office of the Registrar, Bhattadev University, Bajali, Pathsala-781325, Assam on or before 16-12-2026.
6. Superscribe the envelope with "Application for the Post of ......".

Other Points to Note

• Candidates who applied for Assistant Professor in Botany vide Advt. Nos. BU/E&A Sec./Advt./T/01/2022/1756 dated 27/06/2022 and BU/E&A Sec./Advt./T/02/2023/2553 dated 15/03/2023 need not apply again; they may submit updated documents
• Separate application and separate fee for each post applied for
• Change of address must be communicated to the Registrar quoting the Advertisement No. and post(s) applied for
• Changes, amendments and updates will be posted on www.bhattadevuniversity.ac.in
• No correspondence on postal delay, conduct and result of interview or reasons for not being called for interview
• University may change the number and nature of posts or revise/cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason
