KEA Kalyana Karnataka Group C Recruitment 2026 (Electrician, Water Supply Operator and More 210 Posts)
Overview
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), on behalf of the Directorate of Municipal Administration, has released the KEA Group C Recruitment 2026 notification for 210 vacancies in the urban local bodies (Nagara Sthaniya Samsthegalu) of the Kalyana-Karnataka region. The recruitment includes Water Supply Operator, Electrician Grade-1, Assistant Water Supply Operator, and Electrician Grade-2 posts through a competitive written examination conducted by KEA.
 
The online application process will begin on 16 September 2026 and remain open until 30 September 2026 through the official KEA CET Portal. Applications are accepted only in online mode, and candidates should complete the registration within the prescribed timeline.
 
Candidates must have passed SSLC (Class 10) or an equivalent qualification, along with the relevant ITI trade certificate and apprenticeship training prescribed for the respective post. The detailed eligibility conditions, reservation rules, and post-wise qualifications are provided in the official notification.
The selection process consists of a competitive written examination conducted by KEA, followed by document verification and other recruitment stages as specified by the recruiting authority. Selected candidates will be appointed to Group C posts in municipalities across the Kalyana-Karnataka region and will receive salary and benefits as per the applicable Government pay rules.

  • Passed SSLC or an equivalent examination; AND has passed a two-year course in Electrical or Fitter Trade from a Government-recognised Industrial Training Institute resulting in an NTC.
