SGMH Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 (Walk in for 52 Posts)

Overview

The Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital (SGMH), Delhi has released the Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 notification, inviting eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for 52 Senior Resident Doctor vacancies across various medical departments. The appointments will be made on an ad-hoc basis for 89 days or until regular candidates join, whichever is earlier.

This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for qualified medical professionals seeking short-term government hospital experience in Delhi.

Unlike a regular online application process, the recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in interview on 24 September 2026. Candidate registration will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and no entry will be allowed after 12:00 Noon, making timely reporting essential.

Senior Resident Doctor	52	MBBS degree from a recognized university or institution. Postgraduate Degree, Diploma or DNB in the concerned specialty. Valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council. Candidates who have applied for Delhi Medical Council registration must produce proof of application at the walk-in interview. The candidate must not have completed three years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution on a regular or ad-hoc basis.
