OPTCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (Diploma, Graduate and ITI Apprentice 100 Posts)

Overview

The Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), a Government of Odisha undertaking, has released the OPTCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement No. OPTCL-14013/9/2026-T AND D – Part (1) - 14389, dated 29 August 2026) inviting online applications for 100 Apprentice vacancies. The recruitment includes Graduate Engineering, Graduate Non-Engineering, Diploma Technician, and ITI Trade Apprentice posts for a one-year apprenticeship across various OPTCL units in Odisha.

The online application process began on 02 September 2026 and will remain open until 01 October 2026. Before applying on the OPTCL website, candidates must first register on the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) or NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) portal, depending on their qualification.

The recruitment is open only to Indian nationals who are domiciles of Odisha, are 18 years of age or above, and possess the prescribed Engineering Degree, Diploma, ITI, or other discipline-specific qualification mentioned in the official notification. Candidates must complete the required NATS/NAPS registration before submitting the online application.

The selection process will be conducted according to the Apprentices Act, 1961, and generally involves shortlisting based on academic merit, followed by document verification and other procedures prescribed by OPTCL. Selected apprentices will receive the applicable monthly stipend as per Government apprenticeship norms and will be posted at various OPTCL offices, substations, and project units across Odisha.
