Overview

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CPO Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2026 notification for recruitment to Sub-Inspector (SI) posts in Delhi Police and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) through the SSC CPO Examination 2026. The recruitment offers opportunities for graduates seeking Group 'B' Non-Gazetted police positions in organizations such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, and SSB, along with Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police.

The online application process will begin on 10 September 2026 and remain open until 30 September 2026, with applications being accepted only through the official SSC website. Candidates are advised to read the complete official notification before applying, as it contains detailed information regarding vacancy details, eligibility, age limit, application fee, exam pattern, syllabus, physical standards, and other important instructions.

Candidates possessing a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university and meeting the prescribed age limit and physical eligibility standards can apply. For certain Delhi Police SI posts, a valid driving licence may be required as specified in the official notification.

The selection process consists of Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Selected candidates will receive salaries under Pay Level-6 of the 7th CPC, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other Central Government benefits.
